Description   Designed and calibrated for good street performance and fuel economy in small-block and small displacement big-block engines. Edelbrock carbs bolt on and run right out of the box for dependable street performance and smooth throttle response throughout the power band. Float levels are set at the factory so adjustments are rarely needed. Two-step metering rods are used instead of failure-prone power valves for custom tuning of cruise and power circuits independently. You can change jets, adjust floats and replace needles/seats without draining fuel or removing carb from manifold. Our two-piece design means no gaskets below the fuel level for leak-free operation. Supported by expert customer service. Professionally rebuilt at Edelbrock headquarters in Torrance, California, these reconditioned Performer Series carbs are completely disassembled, inspected and thoroughly cleaned before reassembly. Any parts that are reused are inspected and tested using strict QS9000 quality control standards. Components that don't measure up are replaced with brand new parts. All reconditioned carburetors are assembled with new gaskets and pressure tested to 6 PSI to insure leak-free operation.
